Little Scallywags Day Nurseries consists of seven settings around the Birmingham and Staffordshire area. The nurseries are a family run business and benefit from the skills and experience of a strong management team, including nursing, qualified teacher status and family support.

Here at Little Scallywags - we are looking for an enthusiastic apprentice to complete their Level 3 Early Years Educator apprenticeship to join our small and friendly team at Little Scallywags.
About The Role
Key details:
* Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am to 5.30pm, 40 hours per week
* Wage: £7.55 per hour
* Location: Tamworth, B78 3ND
* Apprenticeship Standard: Level 3 Early Years Educator
* Duration: 19 months
Overview Of The Role
As a key part of the team you will be responsible for supporting the education and development of your key children through quality teaching and learning.
Responsibilities
* Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children in the nursery
* Plan and implement age-appropriate activities to stimulate children's development
* Monitor and observe children to ensure their well-being and safety
* Collaborate with other nursery staff to create a positive learning environment
* Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development
* Communicate effectively with parents regarding their childs daily activities and progress
Apprenticeship Summary
* You will work towards your Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification across a total duration of 19 months
* Training provider: LMP Group: https://lmp-group.co.uk/
* All online/remote learning, no classroom or college day release
* An allocated tutor will support you throughout the apprenticeship
Candidate Requirements
Skills & Personal Qualities Required
* Experience working with young children in a nursery or childcare setting
* Ability to engage and interact with children in a positive and supportive manner
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
* Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with children
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Qualifications Required
* GCSE or equivalent English (Grade 4) - Essential
* GCSE or equivalent Maths (Grade 4) - Essential
* Level 2 Early Years practitioner qualification or equivalent - Preferred
