HGV Class 2 Driver - Erith, Dartford & Belvedere - £16.75 - £17.50 per hour
Are you a reliable and experienced HGV Class 2 driver looking for work in the Erith, Dartford, and Belvedere areas?
Are you ready to hit the road with a leading agency? Pertemps is on the lookout for reliable and experienced HGV Class 2 (Category C) drivers to join our team and work with fantastic clients in the Erith, Dartford, and Belvedere areas!
Pay Rate: £16.75 - £17.50 per hour (depending on client and shift)
Responsibilities include:
* Operating a Class 2 vehicle safely and efficiently.
* Performing multi-drop deliveries to various locations.
* Completing necessary paperwork and adhering to delivery schedules.
* Carrying out vehicle checks and reporting any issues.
* Maintaining a professional attitude while representing our agency and our clients.
* Adhering to all relevant traffic laws and regulations.
* Manual handling is some cases
Requirements:
* Valid UK Class 2 (Category C) driving licence.
* Minimum 1.5y experience
* Valid Driver CPC qualification.
* Digital tachograph card.
* Good understanding of driver hours and regulations.
* Reliable and punctual with excellent timekeeping.
* Good communication skills.
* Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
* Previous experience as a Class 2 driver is preferred.
* No more than 6 penalty points on your license (for minor offences).
