Tool Hire – Regional Business Development Executive

Full‑Time | Monday–Friday, 07:00–17:00
Based from our High Street Godstone branch, you’ll focus on winning new business, developing existing accounts and driving profitable growth for our Tool Hire operation.
Responsibilities
* Identify and convert new Tool Hire business opportunities
* Build and maintain strong customer relationships
* Develop and deliver a regional sales plan
* Promote products, services, offers and new lines
* Negotiate pricing and terms to achieve agreed margin targets
* Prepare and follow up quotations
* Plan daily calls and manage a structured calling cycle
* Maintain accurate sales records, paperwork, and reports
* Resolve customer issues quickly and professionally
* Establish and review the calling cycle to maximize customer contact and develop existing business
* Develop a territory strategy that maintains existing business and identifies new customers
* Selling across our product range and introducing promotions and new lines
Qualifications
* Minimum 3 years’ sales experience in Tool Hire (builders’ merchant preferred)
* Strong communication, negotiation and relationship‑building skills
* Well organised and results focused
* Knowledge of building supplies and Tool Hire services
* Good understanding of industry health & safety standards
