Astute's Renewables team is partnering with a leading innovator in renewable energy production, specialising in biogas plants, to recruit a Maintenance Technician for their site in Invergordon, Scotland. The Maintenance Technician will apply mechanical & electrical technical expertise to safely carry out planned, reactive and emergency work across the site, minimising any down timeThe Maintenance Technician role comes with a competitive salary, excellent benefits and training.If you're an experienced Maintenance Technician and are looking to work for an organisation that are forward-thinking and at the forefront of green energy and play a key role in driving environmental progress, then submit your CV to apply todayResponsibilities and duties of the Maintenance Technician roleReporting to the Maintenance Team Leader you will:Ensure that assigned work scopes are carried out safely, to the highest quality and carried out on timeEnsure Inspection and Testing regime is completed as per Maintenance PlanBe involved in root cause analysis investigations for reactive and emergency maintenance to help prevent recurrence of the issueAssist and be actively involved, where required, with the integration of site capital projectsEndeavor to assist maintenance and site teams where required with overtime, out of hours support during emergency breakdowns or during maintenance shut down periodsTake part in an on-call rotaOther duties as requiredProfessional qualificationsWe are looking for someone with the following:HND/HNC in process engineering - Electrical, Mechanical and Instrumentation or Modern Apprenticeship completed or N/SVQ level 3 - Mechanical ECITB Or a similar qualification. Will consider time servedFull UK Driving license (essential)IOSH (preferred)FLT/Telehandler licence (preferred)Personal skillsThe Maintenance Technician role would suit someone who is:At least 2 years' experience within anaerobic digestion or a similar processing environmentExperience working under a Quality Management System (QMS)Experience within a similar industry working under the remit of COMPEX/ATEX regulationsElectrical experience within the industrial sector (preferred)Salary and benefits of the Maintenance Technician roleExcellent salary + on call allowenceComprehensive benefits packageChance to join a leading business in the renewable energy sectorINDRENAstute People are acting as an employment agency in relation to this vacancy.
