Position Summary

We are actively seeking a Director, Sales Development – EMEA. This remote position is based in Greater London, UK.

This role will lead a team of Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) across EMEA and serve as a key partner to Marketing, Inside Sales, Renewals, and Sales. Reporting to the VP Marketing EMEA, you will set and measure the SDR strategy to deliver qualified leads and pipeline, driving growth of the EMEA business. You will work closely with Sales, Business, and Marketing leaders worldwide.

The ideal candidate is analytical, strategic, and a critical thinker with a proven track record of building high‑performing SDR teams in a B2B software or services environment. You will enable predictability, scalability, and efficiency while maintaining a positive, high‑energy outlook that inspires the team to exceed targets. Experience in implementing AI‑powered SDR solutions, deep knowledge of Salesforce and SDR/Marketing metrics, and EMEA country experience are essential.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities

* Prospecting
o Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to build outbound prospecting campaigns
o Ensure timely follow‑up, including account matching, lead routing and assignment of inbound leads
o Maintain regular communication with sales teams on lead and pipeline metrics and achievements
o Analyze and segment target markets and develop appropriate messaging and tools for the SDR team
o Hands‑on prospecting activities to demonstrate best practices and show how results can be achieved
* Lead and Pipeline Management
o Define and maintain operational dashboards for SDR teams, providing full visibility into territories, inbound/outbound flows, and ensuring no lead is left behind
o Develop and maintain dashboards/analytics packages measuring SDR success
o Work with Sales leadership on lead escalation procedures and data consistency globally
o Partner with Marketing to fine‑tune lead scoring and improve conversion rates
o Own and resolve attribution issues between Marketing, SDRs and Sales
o Align SDR processes with global data standards through collaboration with IT and Ops
o Deploy best‑practice prospecting methodologies across the lead generation workflow
o Contribute to the overall improvement of Marketing
* People Management
o Lead a mix of experienced and new SDRs to over‑achieve lead and pipeline quotas
o Own the EMEA SDR compensation process and work with Finance for accurate payouts
o Support a remote team across UKI, France, DACH, Benelux, Nordics, Israel and the Middle East
o Attract, hire, onboard and train top talent for the SDR team
o Coach and mentor individuals to ensure delivery above targets
* Strategy, Planning and Reporting
o Support quarterly and annual strategic planning (headcount, compensation, tech, territory)
o Maintain Salesforce data for accurate reporting
o Bring industry best practices and thought leadership to the Marketing and SDR organization
o Leverage marketing operations for metric reporting and system updates
o Monitor and report on lead quota and qualified pipeline attainment at all levels
o Stay abreast of industry best practices, technologies and methodologies and adopt them into processes


Location

Education

* BA/BSc degree required


Experience

* 10+ years of technology‑related sales or business development experience
* 7+ years of people management experience
* Experience leading a team of SDRs/BDRs focused on enterprise solutions


Desired Experience

* Sales experience, including carrying a quota as an individual contributor
* Extensive client network
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Strong leadership skills
* Fluency in multiple languages is a plus
