Service and Maintenance Engineer required for a well-established provider of machinery used within food manufacturing on a global basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for an engineer with maintenance experience looking to join a respected business who are offering a days-based role, technical development, and the opportunity to travel.
This role would suit a maintenance or service engineer with experience working on either refrigeration equipment or automated production equipment. Candidates from any manufacturing or FMCG environment are encouraged to apply.
The successful candidate will split their time between the company's workshop based in Wolvey, Leicestershire, and at customer sites. Approximately 60-70% of the work carried out at client sites is in the UK; however, you can expect to spend up to 40% of your time working at international client sites, typically up to a week at a time.
The Service Engineer Role:
1. Reconditioning of used machinery
2. Pre-delivery inspections of new equipment
3. Service and repair of machinery on customer sites
4. Up to 40% of your time travelling to international client sites
5. Working with automated machinery used in food and dairy industries
6. Working closely with senior engineers – ongoing training
The Service Engineer Candidate:
1. Experience working on automated production equipment or refrigeration equipment
2. Multiskilled – confident mechanically and electrically
