The successful candidate will assist in delivering engaging lessons, provide targeted support for pupils (including those with additional needs), and help to create a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the classroom teacher in delivering lessons and managing behaviour.
* Work with small groups or individual pupils to boost learning and confidence.
* Provide additional support for children with SEND and/or EAL where required.
* Assist with classroom preparation, resources, and displays.
* Encourage positive relationships and a supportive atmosphere for all learners.
* Contribute to assessments and feedback where appropriate.
Requirements:
* Experience working with children, ideally within a school setting.
* A passion for education and supporting pupil progress.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
* An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
* Relevant qualifications such as CACHE Level 2/3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning (desirable but not essential).
