My client is a long established, leading, regional Civil Engineering Contractor.
Due to planned growth and an influx of work in their Southwestern Region, they are looking to appoint, on a permanent or freelance basis a Site Engineer / Senior Engineer to work on a large marine civils project in the Bournemouth area.
The project is due to commence in early September and the lifecycle is approximately 2 years.
Although their preference would be a permanently employed individual, they would also consider someone that would prefer a long term contract position.
* Setting out roads, earthworks and drainage with surveying equipment (GPS & Robotic Total Stations)
* Assist with quality control to ensure the standards are met in accordance to the design specifications
* Assist in producing permits to break ground (CAT Scanning management)
* Ensuring the highest health, safety and environmental standards are met on site adhering to the client's and business's requirement
* Liaise with the site team to approve materials ensuring they meet specification
* Keep accurate records of progress reports, site diaries and resource allocations
* Produce as-built drawings in AutoCAD.
