Job Description
PK Education is currently recruiting for a dedicated and resilient Science Teacher to work full time within a specialist SEMH provision in Newcastle.
This is a rewarding opportunity to support students in KS3 and KS4 who require additional behavioural and emotional support within a structured learning environment.
The Role:
* Deliver engaging Science lessons to KS3 and KS4 students
* Support pupils within a SEMH setting
* Plan, prepare and assess work in line with curriculum expectations
* Implement strong behaviour management strategies
* Build positive, professional relationships with students and staff
* Create a safe, inclusive and structured classroom environment
Essential Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
* Experience working within SEN and/or SEMH settings
* Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
* Ability to commit to full-time work (5 days per week)
* Resilient, patient and adaptable teaching approach
