Debdale Outdoor Centre is a purpose-built outdoor centre. We provide an exciting range of activities which include dinghy sailing, windsurfing, canoeing and kayaking, rafted canoeing, powerboating, cycling, orienteering, and team-building activities. We are looking for you to join our team, where you'll enjoy making a difference to every person who walks through our centre.
What you’ll do:
1. Deliver a well-structured Watersports programme focusing on progression and development.
2. Provide high-quality coaching sessions.
3. Improve the level of coaching and increase the numbers on the programme.
4. Be aware of pupils' status, nature, and needs.
5. Maintain a positive image of the Centre by providing a welcoming, helpful, and professional service.
6. Set up equipment.
7. Deliver first-class customer service.
8. Deal with customer queries.
9. Support with Open Water Events.
What you need:
10. A can-do attitude.
11. A real focus on customer service.
12. Passion and personality.
13. Knowledge of health and safety.
14. Be a great team player.
15. Hold qualifications in any of these areas: RYA Dinghy Instructor, Windsurfing Instructor, Powerboat Instructor, or British Canoeing Paddle Sports Instructor.
16. A First Aid qualification (desirable).
17. Experience of working/coaching in a community setting.

18. This is a Flexible position. Hours of work will be negotiated with you in line with the needs of the service; flexible working may be possible. Working from home is not possible in this role.
