Our Pharmacy Dispenser rate of pay starts from £13.70 an hour; this increases to £14.97 for stores inside the M25. Additional payments may also apply depending on location.
We offer a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours per week. If you would like to work fewer hours, such as a minimum of 12, you can still apply.
We will schedule your contracted hours within the availability windows and give you 3 weeks' notice of exact shift times. We support flexibility; if your preferred times closely match but not exactly match the advertised times, you may still apply.

Responsibilities
Pharmacy Assistants are integral to the running of our Pharmacies. We are looking for a team player who can take on the following responsibilities:
* Supporting the operation of one of our new modern Pharmacies.
* Applying your technical skills and strong customer focus to accurately dispense medication for our customers.
* Dispensing prescription medicines, ensuring attention to detail and accuracy at all times.
* Engaging with customers in a confident, friendly and professional manner, providing excellent service.
* Offering appropriate information on common ailments, symptoms and products.
* Understanding customers’ needs and explaining product benefits in a clear way, selling only suitable products.
* Advising customers on available Pharmacy services.
* Supporting and delivering Pharmacy services and dispensing process per Standard Operating Procedures.
* Assessing the legal appropriateness of dispensed prescriptions.
* Handling clinical and legal queries from healthcare practitioners within competence.
* Responding to customer queries about prescription medicines, informing the Pharmacist of complaints.
* Ensuring all dispensary routines and SOPs are followed.
* Keeping dispensary and consulting rooms clean, tidy, clutter-free.
* Ensuring accurate and timely prescription administration.
* Driving promotional activities and company initiatives in the team.
* Carrying out procedures accurately to protect profit and trade safely and legally.
* Completing corporate and departmental training.
* Keeping up to date with legal and professional developments in pharmacy.
Qualifications
* Qualifications gained from working in a Pharmacy environment.
* A desire to train and develop in the Pharmacy field.
