Account Manager
Area: Sheffield and Doncaster.
Home‑based – you can grow your area in your home location.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to existing motor dealer accounts, while actively canvassing and acquiring new business from target dealer accounts across the UK.
Responsibilities
* Researching and maintaining a first‑class knowledge of your territory and the opportunities within it.
* Developing and coaching the performance of new and existing dealers by driving bespoke training solutions to support their warranty sales.
* Actively finding new ways to win business from target accounts with the use of our consultative sales process.
* Dealing with all client queries and liaising with management as required.
* Negotiating and overcoming any objections in order to win business from target dealer accounts.
* Ensuring you plan ahead in order to deliver the growth required to support your monthly new business KPIs.
* Regularly reviewing to pinpoint any areas which may require additional focus in your territory.
* Planning your own diary to maximise your effectiveness in the role.
Qualifications
* Sales experience and/or field‑based environment is ideal (not essential). Some of our best Account Managers came from large retail backgrounds – John Lewis, Next, etc., or from the motor trade.
* Self‑confidence and strong relationship‑building skills.
* Comfortable with cold‑calling and able to think on your feet.
* A good eye for detail.
* The ability to adapt to change as we constantly improve our business.
* Highly self‑motivated, hungry to succeed and be the best.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
* Ability to persuade and influence potential sales over the line.
* Excellent customer service skills.
* Comfortable proposing ideas and proposals to management.
* Previous automotive sales experience required.
* Sales & some management exposure (preferred).
* Driving licence (required).

Salary & Package
£50,000+ potential earnings per annum with uncapped commission (top Account Manager earning £70,000+). Basic salary: £30,000 per annum, circa £45‑50k OTE.
33 days annual leave, including bank holidays.
Work Schedule
Monday to Friday – No weekends.
Work Location
Working from home with client visits.
