An opportunity has arisen for a Band 5 Physiotherapist to join the upcoming musculoskeletal outpatients rotation.
You will join other Band 5 Physiotherapists in our Hackney-based NHS Service and benefit from our established Band 5 MSK training program.
The Locomotor service provides specialist musculoskeletal assessment and rehabilitation across community hubs in Hackney. The team is supported by senior clinicians, including advanced practice Physiotherapists. The service also includes an integrated persistent pain service, offering opportunities to discuss pain cases.
We emphasize staff development and well-being, having reached the finals of the 2023 PENNA national award for staff well-being. The Locomotor service is also a finalist in two categories for the 2024 HSJ Awards.
Applicants with prior NHS MSK experience will have an advantage. You will be encouraged to apply for our next Homerton Band 5 or Band 6 MSK recruitment round as an internal candidate, whichever is most appropriate.
Note: Due to contract length, we cannot support employment sponsorship (work visa). Candidates must already hold HCPC registration.
This role is suitable for qualified Physiotherapists interested in developing their skills in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy. NHS MSK outpatient experience is advantageous.
You will work with a diverse client group in clinical, economic, and cultural terms.
In return, our team offers opportunities for professional growth through:
* Supervision and support from senior clinicians
* In-service training and CPD opportunities
* Experience in running exercise and educational groups
* Participation in service development projects
* Access to extensive learning resources
