Job Description
Copello have partnered with an established defence engineering business in the recruitment of a Sales Manager to lead and grow business opportunities within the defence sector. This role can be based out of several locations including; Hampshire and Gloucestershire.
This role requires a proactive and strategic individual who can manage the full sales lifecycle; from market analysis and customer engagement through to bid direction and successful deal closure.
Key Responsibilities
* Drive business development across current and emerging markets, managing opportunities from concept to contract.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders to deliver successful outcomes.
* Lead bid strategy and provide direction on campaign planning, marketing, and resourcing.
* Produce and maintain a rolling five-year sales pipeline to support strategic business planning.
* Identify, manage, and mitigate risks and opportunities across projects and campaigns.
* Support team transformation initiatives and act as a visible leader within the sales community.
