Jefferies is seeking an Investor Relations professional to drive the firm’s engagement with institutional investors partnering closely with senior management, Finance, Corporate Communications, and Compliance to deliver clear, consistent, and compliant messaging.
Key Responsibilities
* Own and refine core investor messaging and narrative, ensuring consistency across earnings materials, conferences, and ad-hoc engagement.
* Build strong relationships with key external stakeholders and ensure high-quality meeting preparation and post-meeting readouts.
* Gather and synthesize investor feedback, sentiment, and key questions; recommend actions and messaging adjustments.
* Lead shareholder base analysis, peer benchmarking, and thematic work to inform external narrative and internal decision-making.
* Monitor market developments, peer disclosures, and industry trends; provide concise updates and implications for Jefferies’ positioning.
* Partner with Compliance/Legal on review processes for external materials and meeting practices; escalate issues appropriately.
* Mentor junior IR team members.
Qualifications
* 8–12+ years of relevant experience in Investor Relations, Equity Capital Markets, Corporate Broking, or roles involving Roadshows and institutional investor engagement.
* Strong understanding of capital markets and how investors evaluate diversified financial services businesses.
* Exceptional writing/editing skills with a track record producing executive-level work under tight deadlines.
* Advanced analytical capability (financial statements, KPIs, peer analysis); strong PowerPoint and Excel skills required.
* High integrity, discretion, and strong judgment with sensitive information; comfort partnering closely with Compliance/Legal.
* Proven ability to manage senior stakeholders and multiple parallel workstreams.
