A well-established accountancy practice in Newport is seeking a Qualified or Part-Qualified Practice Accountant to join their growing team. They are offering a fantastic work-life balance in a relaxed and supportive environment, with no out-of-hours working.
They are seeking an experienced Practice Accountant.
Preparation of Financial Statements including TB, P&L and Balance Sheet for Limited companies and sole traders
1. Reconciliation of fixed asset register
2. Preparing journals in relation to all aspects of the balance sheet
3. Preparing accounts from incomplete records
4. Preparation of Corporation Tax Returns
5. VAT Returns completed on both standard and cash accounting schemes
6. Preparation of quarterly management accounts/ bank covenants
7. Preparation of Self-Assessment Tax Returns dealing with capital gains, self-employment income, employment income, dividends and property income
8. Completion of Partnership Accounts and Tax Returns
9. Completion of Estate and Trust Tax Returns
10. Managing and reviewing staff member's work allocation and client portfolio
Salary from £35,000 to £50,000
Only a 33 hour working week with a half day on a Friday
