Role Overview Of a Welder Fabricator
We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Heavy Welder Fabricator to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will have proven experience working with MIG / MAG / Stick welding, with the ability to work from technical drawings and handle heavy fabrication work. Experience with hardfacing welding is highly desirable and will be considered a strong advantage.
Key Responsibilities Of a Welder Fabricator
* Perform MIG, MAG, and Stick welding to high standards
* Carry out heavy fabrication tasks from technical engineering drawings
* Operate relevant machinery, tools, and welding equipment safely and effectively
* Undertake hardfacing welding processes (preferred but not essential)
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment
* Perform quality checks on completed work
* Work independently and as part of a team to meet production deadlines
Requirements Of a Welder Fabricator
* Proven experience in MIG, MAG, and Stick welding
* Ability to read and interpret technical fabrication drawings
* Experience with heavy-duty fabrication
* Hardfacing experience is a significant bonus
* Good understanding of health & safety procedures
* Strong work ethic and attention to detail
* Ability to work under minimal supervision
Benefits Of a Welder Fabricator
* Overtime available after 40 hours:
o Weekdays and Saturdays paid at x1.5, Sundays x2
* Early finish on Fridays
* Permanent full-time position
