About The Team
Amey is working with a number of high-profile infrastructure clients such as Thames Tideway, TfGM, High Speed 1 and Transport for Wales, focussing on their existing ageing operational technology assets and systems. As part of the Analytics & Advisory OpTech team you will work with our clients to support their renewals schemes from requirements gathering, to design optioneering through to full system implementation and roll-out.
What You’ll Be Doing
As an Operational Technology Graduate, you will be based out of our Manchester Consulting hub working on a variety of different projects dependent upon your previous knowledge and area of interest. The role could cover any of the following:
* Survey existing assets and infrastructure to understand and document renewal requirements
* Develop comms network designs covering switch, firewall and network layering architectures
* Identify and evaluate equipment options for off the shelf technology components to integrate into a wider system design
* Develop appropriate cyber security policies and procedures for system renewals or in response to threat identification
* Support installation and commissioning of technology assets and systems in a live operational environment.
