Location: Kendal but work areas are Barrow, Penrith and hybrid working

Contract Type: Permanent


About the Role

We are excited to be recruiting for an exceptionalindividual to be the PA to Director of Thriving Communities


Our ideal candidate will be:

* An organised individual with strong administrative skills who can work in a fast paced environment.
* Someone who can manage their own workload well to ensure deadlines are met and provide excellent customer service.
* Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Have the ability to be speedy and accurate whilst remaining calm under pressure
* Has line management experience


Essential/Desirable experience

* Previous PA experience supporting a Director/Assistant Director (essential)
* Previous local government experience (desirable)
* Previous experience of supporting a Section 151 Officer
* Previous experience of working in a value adding service (desirable)
* Political awareness
