Job Title: HR Advisor

Location: Leicester

Contract: Full time, Permanent

We are currently seeking a HR Advisor to join our team in Leicester. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being hands-on and making a real difference to the working environment.

The Role

As HR Advisor, you will play a key role in supporting day-to-day HR operations and ensuring compliance with employment legislation. You will work closely with managers and employees to provide practical, solution-focused advice and guidance.

Key Responsibilities


* Act as a first point of contact for employees and managers on HR queries, policies, and procedures.
* Support the recruitment process including job postings, shortlisting, interview coordination, and offer management.
* Manage employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, probation reviews, promotions, and leavers.
* Provide guidance and support on employee relations matters, including performance management, absence management, and disciplinary or grievance processes.
* Maintain accurate HR records and prepare reports as required, ensuring GDPR compliance.
* Assist in the development and implementation of HR initiatives, policies, and training programmes.
* Support HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance employee experience and organisational effectiveness.

The Person

* CIPD-qualified (or working towards) with practical HR experience.
* Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to build relationships at all levels.
* Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
* Confident in using HR systems and MS Office applications.
* SharePoint knowledge would be beneficial.
