Learning Support Assistant – Secondary School | Bournemouth | September Start Are you passionate about supporting young people in education? Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting for a Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a welcoming and inclusive secondary school in Bournemouth. This full-time position is to start in September, offering an excellent opportunity to make a real difference in students' lives while developing your career in education. The Role: As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in helping students engage with their learning, build confidence, and reach their full potential. Each day brings something different – from supporting students in the classroom to delivering targeted interventions for those with additional needs such as autism, ADHD, or social, emotional, and mental health challenges (SEMH). Key responsibilities include: Providing tailored classroom support across various subjects and year groups Delivering one-to-one or small group interventions Supporting students with their emotional and academic development Assisting with behaviour management strategies in line with school policy Working closely with teachers, SENCOs and pastoral teams to ensure student progress Helping students build confidence, resilience, and independence in their learning About the School: This Bournemouth secondary school is known for its inclusive ethos, supportive leadership, and commitment to helping every student succeed – regardless of background or starting point.
