Key Responsibilities
As a P3M Consultant (Project Controller), you will support customers in delivering key outputs and capabilities to an agreed baseline. You will work closely with national government bodies, international institutions, and global prime contractors, sharing accurate KPI information with stakeholders in a timely manner to ensure correct decisions are made for successful project delivery.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Essential:
* Proven experience in project, programme, or portfolio management roles
* Educated to degree level or equivalent, with relevant professional qualifications (e.g., ChPP, PMQ, PPQ, PRINCE2, MSP)
* Strong track record of monitoring projects for time, cost, and quality
* Experience working in the defence sector or a military background
* Demonstrable experience of delivering quality on projects
* Ability to manage stakeholder relationships effectively
* Supporting teams in dynamic, multi-disciplinary environments
* Experience assisting in Bid Winning processes such as PQQ/ITT/ITN
* Strong verbal, presentation, and report-writing skills
* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize workloads under pressure
* Ability to travel to client sites across the UK, mainly in South and South-West regions
Desirable:
* Membership of a professional body (e.g., APM, PMI) and a desire for ongoing professional development
* Experience working in a consultancy environment or with government clients
* Experience with Scheduling and Planning tools (e.g., Microsoft Project 2016, Primavera P6)
* Experience performing Schedule Risk Analysis (SRA)
* Experience with Risk Management (e.g., MoR, ERM)
* Experience applying Earned Value Management (EVM) (e.g., Foundation or Practitioner)
Other Requirements:
* Existing right to live and work in the UK
* Willingness to undergo BPSS check and Security Clearance (SC level), with at least 5 years of UK residency for SC clearance
