Applications are invited from suitably qualified educational psychologists for a post within the Educational Psychological Service.
\n
Applicants require Graduate basis for registration with the British Psychological Society and a postgraduate qualification in educational psychology. Registration with or eligibility to register with HCPC, subject to successful completion of the appropriate BPS qualification is required.
\n
North Lanarkshire Educational Psychological Service is one of the largest in Scotland and performs a key function in supporting North Lanarkshire to improve outcomes for children, young people, their families and communities.
\n
The Educational Psychological Service has developed an unrivalled diversity of professional skills and there are exceptional opportunities for continuing professional development, joint working and research. All psychologists have the opportunity to deliver on the National and local priorities by deploying their psychological knowledge and skills through creative and robust practice.

The service is looking to recruit innovative, collegiate and values led psychologists. They will have the opportunity to participate fully in the work of the service to take forward the ambitious Plan for North Lanarkshire.

The Educational Psychological Service operates in 2 teams based in 2 offices across North Lanarkshire. Appointment will be to the service. Remit and office base will be determined in line with Educational Psychology Service needs and priorities.

*For all casual/sessional roles, you will receive 12.1% of your hourly rate for every hour worked in total recompense for annual leave, including public holidays. These rates will be indicated separately on your payslip. You will only be paid for the hours that you work.
