The Opportunity
We are currently seeking a proactive Parts Advisor to join our busy Tunbridge Wells dealership. You will play a key role within our aftersales team, ensuring that our customers and technicians receive the right parts, on time, every time.
Key Responsibilities
* Customer Excellence: Handle retail, trade, and internal workshop enquiries via phone, email, and face-to-face.
* Technical Identification: Use electronic parts catalogues to identify and supply correct vehicle components.
* Inventory Management: Process orders, manage returns, and oversee warranty claims with high accuracy.
* Workshop Support: Liaise with technicians to ensure parts are available for timely vehicle repairs.
* Sales Growth: Identify upsell opportunities and promote seasonal offers to maximize profitability.
What You'll Need
* Experience: Minimum 1–2 years in an automotive parts role (preferred).
* Tech Savvy: Strong IT skills; experience with Dealer Management Systems (DMS) is a major plus.
* Detail Oriented: High level of accuracy in record-keeping and stock control.
* Communication: Ability to work effectively within a busy team and build rapport with trade customers.
* License: A full UK driving licence is preferred.
