Jimmy Fairly was born in Paris in 2010 with a mission to shake up the optical world: well-designed, high-quality glasses at fair prices—with a strong commitment to social impact.
Today, we have over 160 stores across Europe and the UK, and we’re growing fast—opening 30 new locations each year. Our model is simple and powerful: fresh collections every six weeks, short-circuit manufacturing, and a seamless, style-driven customer journey.
In partnership with Restoring Vision, we donate a pair of glasses for every one sold—because good vision should be a right, not a luxury.
The Role:
An enthusiastic person who can inspire, lead a team and who enjoys working with
people to achieve great results. Mission: To ensure business performance and to respect
the Company and Group image, monitoring and developing retail teams in the UK.
Business:
Manages, develops and leads a group of stores within the UK
Set KPI targets and monitor performance
Process Optimisation and Best Practice Sharing
You will also be involved in soliciting feedback on regional initiatives
Ensure maximum profitability through execution of short and long term strategies
Trouble-shoots operational issues and concerns from retail management, ensures that procedures are communicated and implemented
Responsible to deliver great customer experience in your region through leveraging mystery shopper results and customer feedback and driving a customer centric mindset throughout your teams
Operations:
Process Optimisation and Best Practice Sharing
Accountable for overall operations, staffing and merchandising of retail stores
Organise and perform stocktake
Uphold respect of Jimmy Fairly’s standards and procedures (visual, merchandising, maintenance, grooming, stock, etc.) and ensure operation excellence
Training / recruitment:
Responsibility to coach and develop your Boutique managers and ensure all boutiques have strong people plans to enable their teams to fulfill their potential to underpin succession planning
Work alongside the Country manager to develop training within your teams
Establish a strong communication with the talent acquisition to ensure an efficient recruitment within your network.
Ensure all Boutiques are respecting the International Guidelines.
Recruitment within your network.
Establish a strong customer service/selling culture in all assigned stores
Accountable for overall operations, staffing and merchandising of retail stores
What We're Looking For
Proven experience in a similar leadership role
Strong leadership skills with the ability to support, motivate, and supervise teams
Excellent sales management abilities and a deep understanding of retail KPIs and how to drive them
Eagerness to learn, grow, and support the development of others
An entrepreneurial mindset and the drive to thrive in a fast-paced, start-up environment
Exceptional organisational, multitasking, and time-management skills
Confidence in prioritising tasks and taking full ownership of responsibilities
A genuine passion for eyewear, style, and helping people feel their best
A proactive, flexible attitude and a hands-on approach
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to connect effectively with teams and stakeholders
Fluency in English (French is a plus, but not essential)
