About You: We’re looking for a Retail Store Manager with a passion for driving customer engagement. An understanding of the collecting world is an advantage: Affinity for Collectibles & Brand: A genuine passion or interest for trading cards, collectibles, and sports memorabilia. Leadership Experience: Proven experience in a leadership role ideally within retail but we open to sectors. Most importantly you will be an inspirational leader. Customer Experience Champion: A dedication to creating memorable experiences for customers, especially those seeking exclusive collectibles and trading cards. Financial Acumen: Strong financial management skills, managing budgets, and driving profitability. Events & Merchandising Expertise: Experience in collaborating on events and merchandising, ideally in retail environments focused on collectibles and high-value items. Stakeholder Management: Ability to confidently manage relationships with senior leadership. Comfortable providing floor walks and business overviews to visiting stakeholders. People Management: Motivate and inspire a team passionate about sports and collectibles, ensuring they deliver expert product knowledge and outstanding customer service to both seasoned collectors and new enthusiasts. Track Sales & Performance: Monitor and analyse sales trends, implement revenue-maximizing strategies, and ensure the store consistently meets and exceeds sales targets. Create a Collector-Focused Experience: Foster a vibrant in-store atmosphere that speaks to the heart of card collecting. Host trading events, live product demonstrations, and community gatherings to engage collectors and build excitement around new releases and rare finds. Visual Merchandising & Promotions: Collaborate on designing displays that spotlight high-value cards, rare memorabilia, and seasonal promotions. Create visually stunning showcases that draw in collectors and casual fans alike. Stock Management: Ensure optimum stocks levels are achieved through inventory reporting whilst protecting the current stock package from stock loss.
