Warehouse Associate Location: Eastleigh, Southampton Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday Salary: £28,000 per annum Excellent Benefits Purpose of the job Responsible for a variety of Warehouse operational tasks which might include any combination of; Receiving, Picking, Checking, Packing, Shipping and Returns. Key Duties Receiving unloading inbound deliveries and confirming correct product, quantity. Reporting any discrepancies to the Receiving supervisor including damaged product or packaging. Put away of inbound product to the correct location. Picking collecting product from inventory locators as indicated on the Pick Slip and consolidating ready for checking and shipment. Reporting any damaged product or product shortages to the Inventory Control team. Checking ensuring that picked product conforms to the details on the Pick Slip in terms of quantity, product type and (occasionally) software version. Packing packing the picked product ready for shipment. Ensuring that the shipment is packed according to the Customer requirements and general Garmin standards, including labeling. Shipping ensuring that the shipment is dispatched via the correct carrier with the appropriate freight charge and that all supporting documentation is available. Suggest improvements in documentation throughput and material handling to increase accuracy, efficiency and traceability. Carry out any other work as requested by Warehouse Supervisor Education & Experience Flexible and co-operative attitude Willing to work on own, in a team and on a variety of tasks Numerate Diligent and accurate with strong attention to detail. Delivery focused with the ability to work to daily shipping deadlines MHE experience preferable PC skills preferred Technical Requirements (advantageous) PPT licence preferred (training provided in-house) Manual pump truck Reach truck and counter balance licence ( where required)
