About the Role

We are looking for two qualified Supervisors with strong management and leadership skills to manage a team of operational trade staff to ensure that responsive repairs are delivered to a high standard. Performance is continually managed, compliance and quality assurance are monitored and controlled to ensure the best outcome for the customers and the team.
You must have:
1. Commitment to provide a quality frontline customer service with demonstrable management skills
2. Ability to work in a fast-paced, pressurised environment
3. Confidence to diagnose repairs effectively and provide solutions
4. NVQ Level 3 or more in a building trade.
5. Level 4 and/or CIH level 4 Planned maintenance, desirable
6. Demonstrable experience within the building/construction industry
In the main you will be responsible for:
7. Managing a team of Repair operatives
8. Inspections on building repairs/defects related to the building fabric, mechanical, plumbing and electrical repairs to the homes of tenants and residents including collection of information, measurements and tests..
9. Surveys to assess work in response to complaints to find resolution. Provide accurate reports for case management, reporting on repairs and ensure solutions are provided.
10. For Voids, end to end inspection (pre, during and post) of properties ensuring quality of work, issuing remedial snag lists where required and managing delivery within agreed timescales and standards.
11. Carry out inspections/surveys of repair instances that have been escalated from the trade staff or planners, producing scope of works to resolve the repair or refer to complex or major works where necessary.

12. You must be able to drive and use NEC as jobs are scheduled through the systems.
13. You must be passionate about excellent customer service, meeting challenging performance outcomes and training and developing knowledge of your direct reports
14. Be able to have the confidence and professionalism to work with colleagues in the team
15. Commercially driven to achieve value for money but through collaborative working to achieve the best outcomes for tenants and the business
