What we’re looking for
This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast‑paced and growing organisation. We’re looking for a Recovery Practitioner specialising in Safeguarding for our Cheltenham Service.
The role will manage a caseload of safeguarding clients, providing relevant information to treatment for those who use our services and stakeholders. You will provide interventions such as harm reduction, brief interventions or assessment, and coordinate a multi‑agency approach, liaising with partner agencies and safeguarding professionals. You will also work collaboratively with colleagues and key stakeholders across multi‑disciplinary teams, ensuring adherence to all Via policies and safeguarding principles.
The main purpose of this role is to provide excellent quality of care to people who use our service accessing treatment for substance use and their complex needs, working with our clinical team, counsellors and other professionals involved in the client’s care.
Responsibilities include managing a caseload of clients, prescribing, providing quality interventions at varying stages of recovery, developing and delivering a wide range of groups, supporting other areas of service delivery, and participating in activities that support health and wellbeing such as smoking cessation and local events.
We’re looking for individuals with compassion, good communication skills, and the ability to stay calm under pressure. A good listener, curious, and who wants to make a difference are ideal.

Salary: £26,940 - £30,762 depending on experience
