United Offshore Support GmbH is one of the main Global Players in the Offshore Oil & Gas Industry running a fleet of world-wide operating Anchor Handling Tug Supply Vessels.
To support our QHSE-Department, UOS is currently looking for a Marine & QHSE Superintendent (f/m/d)
Key Responsibilities
• To provide specialist Marine and QHSE knowledge, support and advice regarding all matters pertaining to safety, health, environmental and maritime regulatory and operational issues.
• Demonstrate a sound knowledge of, and adherence to, the Business Management System (BMS) framework and governance.
• Maintains IMO, ISM, ISPS compliance, specifically the Document of Compliance (DOC) certification and vessel Safety Management Certificates.
•Develops, implements and maintains and effective Safety Management System (SMS) that mitigates risk to the business and meets all relevant regulatory, industry standards and best practice requirements.
• Develops, implements and maintains QHSE management system governance and certification in compliance with relevant ISO standards i.e. 9001, 45001, 14001, 33001.
• Develops and implements audit and inspection programs and plans to verify that the BMS/SMS policies, processes and procedures are effective and operating as designed.
• Conduct accident / incident investigations, root cause analysis (RCA) and identify corrective actions and ensure actions are closed out in a timely manner.
• Fulfil the role of Designated Person Ashore & Company Security Officer as needed.
• Member of the Emergency Response Team (ERT).
Qualifications:
• Minimum Class II (Deck) Marine Certificate of Competency or other qualifications considered equivalent.
• DP certificate and previous experience serving onboard DP vessels.
• Extensive experience of providing Marine and QHSE support and advice in a dynamic marine, engineering and offshore environment.
• Extensive knowledge of relevant management system
• Lead Auditor and previous ISM/ISO auditing experience.
• Good working knowledge of maritime legislation, codes and standards.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work using own initiative or as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
• Ability to effectively manage own workload and work within given timescales (both internal and external), ensuring project requirements are met.
• Adaptability and problem-solving capability.
• Fluency in English is required and in German preferred.
