We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Graduate Teaching Assistant to join our team at a Pupil Referral Unit in Warwick. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people who require additional support with their education.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist teachers in delivering tailored learning experiences for students with a range of behavioural and emotional needs.
Support the management of classroom behaviour and help create a positive, engaging learning environment.
Provide one-on-one and small group support to students, ensuring they remain engaged with their studies.
Assist with planning and preparing resources to enhance students' learning experiences.
Foster positive relationships with students, helping to build confidence and self-esteem.
The Ideal Candidate:
A recent graduate with a passion for education and supporting vulnerable young people.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A calm, patient, and empathetic approach to working with students who may have complex needs.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently when required.
Experience in working with young people, particularly those with challenging behaviours, is desirable but not essential.
