About the RoleWe are seeking an ambitious andmercially minded Lettings & Events Manager to lead the development and delivery of a school trust’s ie-generating activities.This is a unique opportunity to shape and grow a diverse portfolio of lettings and events—from 4G sports pitches and facilities hire to wedding andmunity event venues—while ensuring day-to-day operations continue to run smoothly.You will take ownership of reviewing and enhancing the existingmercial strategy, improving processes and systems, and unlocking new revenue opportunities across our estate.Key Responsibilities
1. Lead and manage all aspects of lettings and event operations across the trust
2. Review and overhaul currentmercial strategy, pricing models, and processes
3. Drive ie growth through improved utilisation of facilities, including sports pitches and venue spaces
4. Develop and promote event offerings ( weddings, corporate hire,munity events)
5. Maintain and improve customer experience, from initial enquiry through to delivery
6. Ensurepliance with safeguarding, health & safety, and regulatory requirements
7. Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, localmunities, and external partners
8. Manage bookings, staffing, contracts, invoicing, and reporting, ensuring efficient systems and controls
9. Identify newmercial opportunities aligned with the trust’s values and widermunity impact
About YouWe are looking for a proactive and innovative individual with a strongmercial mindset. You maye from a property, lettings, hospitality, leisure, or events background.You will bring:
10. Proven experience in lettings, property management, events, or venue hire
11. Strongmercial acumen and a track record of driving revenue growth
12. Experience reviewing and improving processes, systems, or business strategy
13. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to balance operational delivery and strategic change
14. Strong stakeholder management andmunication skills
15. A hands-on approach with the ability to “keep the wheels turning” while implementing improvements
Desirable:
16. Experience working in a school, trust, public sector, leisure environment withinmercial ie
17. Knowledge of sports facility management or event venue operations
What you'll get in return
This is a temporary contract for up to 6 months, working across mufti sites in Leicestershire with Hybrid working
It is paid on an hourly basis.
This role is subject to an enhanced DBS check.
