Key Stage: KS2 (Years 3–6)
Pay Rate: £14.25–£15.77 per hour (depending on experience)
A small primary school in Birkenhead is looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to join their Key Stage 2 team from September 2026.

About the Role
Working across Years 3 to 6, you will support teachers in delivering engaging lessons and help pupils access learning both in the classroom and through small-group interventions. You may also provide one-to-one support where required, helping to build confidence, encourage independence, and promote positive learning behaviours.
The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, adaptable, and keen to play an active role in school life.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* Experience working with children within a school or educational setting
* A positive and flexible attitude towards supporting learning
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* The ability to build effective relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
* A genuine interest in helping children develop academically and socially
* An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or be willing to obtain one
