We are seeking a skilled Administrator to join our team at Abbey College in the UK. This pivotal role supports our educational mission by ensuring smooth administrative operations and enhancing the overall student experience.
Responsibilities
Manage daily office operations and maintain organized records.
* Provide administrative support to faculty and staff, ensuring effective communication.
* Handle phone inquiries with professionalism and courtesy.
* Assist in data entry and maintain accurate databases.
* Prepare documents and reports using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
* Coordinate schedules and meetings for administrative staff.
* Support financial processes as needed, including basic bookkeeping tasks.
* Foster a welcoming environment for students and visitors.
* Qualifications
Proven office experience with strong administrative skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
* Excellent organizational abilities with attention to detail.
* Strong typing skills and familiarity with data entry processes.
* Good phone etiquette and communication skills.
* Experience with Google Workspace is preferred but not required.
* Previous clerical experience is an advantage.
