Network Security Engineer

Onsite: 5 days per week
Shift Rota: 7 am-7 pm
The Opportunity:
Europe’s #1 Integrated Defence Company seeks a talented Network Security Engineer to join its Information Management Team and work in Operational and Project capacities.
The Role:
As a Network Security Engineer, you'll support the configuration and management of security appliances, implement cryptographic devices, collaborate with suppliers, review project documentation, support network architecture, provide technical consultancy, create documentation, and ensure high network security standards.

Required Skills/Experience:
* Must hold a sole British passport and be willing and able to obtain SC and DV clearance.
* Prior experience or vendor certification in configuring and managing firewalls/proxies and DNS is essential.
* Hands on experience with the following tools: Checkpoint, Juniper, Cisco, Palo Alto, Bluecoat, Riverbed, and Infoblox.
* Previous experience in the defence/aerospace sector or familiarity with working at elevated security levels is essential.
* Cryptography (commercial and high-grade) is desirable.
* Self-motivated and ambitious, capable of working under pressure to meet deadlines.
* Strong team player, providing support to the broader Information Management team
Benefits Package:
* Base salary: £45,000 - £55,000 (DoE)
* Annual Bonus: Circa £2,500
* Pension: Pension 14% (6% Employee and 8% Employer)
