Our client is a leading co‑educational school located in the historic heart of Portsmouth. They are a family school known for excellent teaching, superb pastoral care and a wide range of co‑curricular opportunities, offering an education across the age range from pre‑school to sixth form.
They are seeking to appoint two well‑qualified and experienced RGN school nurses. The role is pupil‑centred, with approachability, emotional intelligence and integrity being of utmost importance. Suitable candidates will handle confidential information appropriately, communicate effectively and build positive relationships with pupils, parents and staff. They will take responsibility for ensuring that systems in the Health and Wellbeing Centre function effectively and that compliance is maintained. Delivering training to staff and disseminating information with clarity and accuracy is also important.
These part‑time roles are five days a week (Monday to Friday from 08.00 to 14.00 or from 12.00 to 17.00, in a job share to ensure an overlap of two nurses between 12.00 to 14.00 each day) term‑time only, and include all INSET (Professional Development Days) in the school calendar.
