Overview
Martin-Baker is the world’s leading manufacturer of ejection seats. Our mission is simple – to save aircrew lives. This apprenticeship program starts in September 2026 and offers a unique opportunity to gain a Level 3 qualification while learning across diverse engineering and manufacturing disciplines.
You will be exposed to Machining, Assembly, Tool Room, Design, Environmental Test and will develop skills such as milling and lathes, pipe bending, riveting, deburring, CAD modelling and more.
The programme supports flexible commitments with training partners to ensure you reach all apprenticeship outcomes. It also promotes interpersonal growth through STEM outreach, career fairs, and resilience training.
Responsibilities
This role will involve hands‑on engineering tasks across multiple disciplines, assisting with manufacturing processes, quality inspection, and documenting engineering procedures. You will collaborate with experienced engineers to support the development and testing of ejection seat components.

Education & Qualifications
* Minimum of 5 GCSEs, including English, Mathematics and Science. Maths GCSE 9–5 and English 9–4, Science 9–4.
