The Role
Projects; Education, Bromsgrove, Pershore, Worcester
Key Responsibilities
* Ensure that project works comply with contract specifications, drawings, and other relevant documents, maintaining appropriate records to confirm compliance.
* Maintain excellent and effective working relationships with clients, their representatives, and advisors.
* Implement the company’s strategies and policies for Sustainability, Health & Safety, Quality, Environment, and Training & Development, acting as an exemplar of company culture and values.
* Apply the company’s Business Management System effectively.
* Proactively identify and resolve issues as they arise.
* Support initiatives to deliver ongoing continuous improvement.
* Undertake line management responsibilities, including annual appraisals and development of junior staff members.
* Perform any other duties relevant to the role.
Requirements
* Relevant technical knowledge and main contractor construction experience (essential).
* Degree or equivalent qualification in a construction‑related subject ().
* Site Safety Management Training Scheme (SSSTS/SMSTS) qualification; appropriate CSCS card (essential).
* Comprehensive experience in a similar role as a Site Engineer (essential).
* Strong technical background.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Ability to use initiative and apply logical, critical thinking.
* Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
* Excellent planning, time management, and attention to detail.
