A well-established and growing restructuring practice is looking to appoint a Senior Insolvency Administrator to join its Manchester team.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who has already built a strong foundation in corporate insolvency and now wants a role with more responsibility, better exposure, and clearer long-term progression.

As a result, they are looking for a capable Senior Administrator who can take ownership of cases, support more complex assignments, and become a key part of the team as the practice continues to expand.
This role would suit someone who enjoys technical case work but also wants to be involved in a more commercial, forward-thinking environment where they can work closely with experienced Managers, Senior Managers, and Insolvency Practitioners.
The Role
You will be responsible for progressing a varied caseload of corporate insolvency assignments, with a particular focus on delivering work to a high technical standard while maintaining strong communication with stakeholders.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Handling a portfolio of corporate insolvency cases, including CVLs, MVLs, Administrations, and other formal insolvency appointments
* Taking responsibility for case progression from appointment through to closure
* Preparing reports, statutory documentation, creditor correspondence, and case updates
* Liaising with directors, creditors, employees, HMRC, agents, solicitors, and other professional advisers
* Assisting with investigations, asset realisations, creditor claims, and distributions
* Monitoring deadlines and ensuring compliance with statutory and internal requirements
* Supporting junior administrators and helping them develop their technical knowledge
* Working with senior colleagues on more complex restructuring and insolvency matters

The Person
The ideal candidate will have:
* Experience working in corporate insolvency
* A good working knowledge of CVLs, MVLs, Administrations, or similar insolvency procedures
* The ability to manage a varied caseload and work to deadlines
* Strong attention to detail and technical accuracy
* Confidence dealing with directors, creditors, and professional contacts
* A proactive attitude and willingness to support junior team members
* CPI, ACA, ACCA, or JIEB study interest would be useful, but is not essential
