Pertemps are currently recruiting on behalf of Royal Mail for an Accident Repair Advisor to join their busy fleet and transport support team. This is an excellent opportunity for a customer-focused and organised individual with experience in vehicle repair, insurance claims, fleet management, or automotive administration. You will play a key role in supporting the efficient management of vehicle accident repairs across Royal Mail's fleet network.
Your Role:
* Complete all administrative paperwork for vehicle repair orders.
* Maintain and update the customer database (M5).
* Confirm repair requirements and arrange bookings.
* Create work orders and generate purchase order numbers.
* Manage the day-to-day email inbox and respond to queries promptly.
* Ensure good housekeeping standards and maintain orderly administration of tasks.
* Regularly follow up with suppliers for repair updates.
* Provide support to Accident Engineers as required.
Requirements:
* Excellent phone manner with the ability to build rapport, demonstrate empathy, and apply strong listening and questioning skills.
* Creative problem solver who thinks outside the box.
* Collaborative team player who enjoys learning and working with others to deliver outstanding customer service.
* Positive, can-do attitude with the confidence to handle difficult conversations, overcome objections, influence others, and make independent decisions.
* Proficient in Excel or similar tools.
* Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize effectively.

* Working hours: Hybrid work 2/3 days in the office - Monday to Friday 08:00-16:00.
* Payrate: £13.52 per hour
* Location - Chesterfield S49 1PF
