Enterprise Sales Engineer – Chicago

Focus:
Serve as the primary technical liaison for enterprise connectivity solution sales across a multi-state region, supporting scoping, quoting, and proposal development.
Participate in on-site discovery visits and site walks to gather infrastructure data and develop tailored solutions.
Partner closely with sales, engineering, and project management teams to deliver custom-designed DAS and wireless solutions that exceed client expectations.
Translate technical requirements into design deliverables using tools such as iBwave.
Guide pre-sales documentation including Statements of Work (SOWs), diagrams, and equipment configurations.
Support RFP/RFI responses with a high degree of technical accuracy and strategic insight.
Advise on industry best practices, OEM equipment selection, and installation feasibility.
Maintain a pulse on market trends, customer feedback, and competitor strategies to inform continuous service improvements.
Contribute to team training and knowledge sharing across deployments, systems, and customer verticals.
Skill Set:
5+ years of experience in technical sales support, RF design, or network engineering, ideally with a focus on enterprise wireless connectivity.
Hands-on design experience with DAS and in-building wireless systems, including OEM hardware and iBwave software.
Demonstrated success working directly with enterprise clients, contractors, and internal teams in a technical consulting capacity.
Strong working knowledge of wireless infrastructure, RF propagation, cabling, and power requirements.
Proficiency in MS Office, Google Workspace, and data visualization tools.
Experience managing or supporting site surveys, design reviews, and solution presentations.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related technical field preferred.
Background in construction, systems integration, or field engineering is a plus.
