We are the internal recruitment partner for our client, a long-established and growing financial services organisation specialising in tailored funding solutions for UK businesses and professional practices.
With over 18 years of experience supporting accountants, solicitors, medical practices, and other professional firms, our client is now looking to appoint an experienced Senior Business Development Manager to join their expanding team in Basingstoke.
In this role, you will focus on developing and managing relationships within the professions market, identifying new business opportunities, and delivering bespoke finance solutions that help professional firms manage cash flow, invest in growth, and strengthen their financial position.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious sales professional with a proven track record in professions finance, commercial lending, or business development within the professional services sector.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:
 1. Proven experience within the professions finance, asset finance, or commercial lending sectors.
 2. An established network of contacts within accountancy, legal, medical, or other professional services.
 3. A consultative and relationship-led sales approach with the ability to build long-term partnerships.
 4. Excellent B2B communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
 5. A proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
 6. The ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a collaborative team environment.
 7. Flexibility to work from the Basingstoke office regularly, particularly during the initial onboarding period.
 8. A full, clean UK driving licence.
In return, we are offering:
 9. A salary circa £40,000 per annum, dependent on experience + attractive commission structure.
