About the Role:
We are working with a well-known SEN school in Teesside seeking dedicated Learning Support Assistants/Classroom Support Workers to join their secondary school team.
You’ll support students with their academic, personal, and social development, working with learners who have Autism, moderate learning difficulties, and a range of behavioural needs in a specialist environment.
This role is both demanding and rewarding. It requires emotional resilience, creativity, and a reflective approach to meet each learner’s unique needs and help engage those who may have had challenging experiences in education.

The Ideal Candidate:
* Experience working with young people with additional needs and/or challenging behaviour, ideally in a secondary setting
* Patience, resilience, compassion, and understanding
* Proactive, empathetic, and creative in approach
* Commitment to following school policies and safeguarding procedures

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
