Structural Engineer
Location: Central London (Hybrid Working Available)
Salary: £38,000 – £48,000 + Pension | Full Healthcare | Annual Bonus | Flexible Hours | Training Budget | Regular Social Events
Are you a Structural Engineer with 2+ years of design experience looking to take the next step in your career? Emtech is working with a leading Civil & Structural Engineering consultancy based in the heart of London, renowned for delivering high-quality new build, refurbishment, and historic building projects ranging from £10m to £400m.
About the Role:
This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic and sociable team where you'll have the chance to run your own projects while also contributing to major schemes. The consultancy offers a structured Chartership development programme and strong mentorship from experienced Chartered Engineers.
What You’ll Be Doing:
* Designing structural solutions for a variety of development-led projects
* Taking ownership of your own projects with guidance and support from senior staff
* Contributing to large-scale, high-profile developments
* Engaging with clients and project stakeholders
* Collaborating with internal teams across multiple disciplines
What We’re Looking For:
* Minimum 2 years UK experience in structural engineering design
* A strong interest in gaining project leadership experience
* Ambition to pursue Chartership (ICE or IStructE) – full support provided
* Experience working with some of the following software is advantageous:
* Tekla Structural Designer
* Tekla Tedds
* Revit
* AutoCAD
* Bluebeam Revu
* Background in working with steel, concrete, timber, and masonry
* Previous involvement in residential, commercial, educational, high rise projects is beneficial
