Overview

We have an exciting opportunity for 2x Band 7 Dietitians to join us as Team Leads, driving and developing dietetic services across different clinical areas to include Stroke and HCOP, and Specialist Medicine (Infectious Diseases and Respiratory).

These roles offer opportunities to develop your clinical and leadership skills while supporting quality improvement and service development projects. You'll manage a team of dietitians and assistants, overseeing patient-centred care and contribute to service improvement and quality initiatives.

Applicants must be registered Dietitians with strong clinical skills, leadership experience, and excellent communication. Experienced Band 7 Dietitians or ambitious Band 6 Dietitians ready to step into leadership are encouraged to apply. You\'ll embody our values of being Kind, Connected, and Bold. Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Dietitian to lead a team of Dietitians and Dietetic Assistants, providing expert clinical care across various settings. You will act as a source of specialist advice and promote the profile of dietetics within the multidisciplinary team. This role blends leadership with clinical work. You will coach, develop and upskill the dietetic workforce, promoting a positive learning culture, and ensure staff feel supported to grow and thrive. You will provide expert clinical advice and work closely with multidisciplinary teams to promote innovation, enhance patient outcomes and service delivery.

We prioritise staff wellbeing and commit to flexible working and supporting your work life balance. We are open to secondment opportunities and depending on experience can be flexible with the clinical areas covered.


Qualifications

* Essential: Good standard of general education including GCSE maths and English grade C and above; A levels or equivalent; Degree in dietetics or equivalent; Registration with HCPC
* Desirable: Training in management/leadership; Training in specialist area; Evidence of further postgraduate study in specialist area


Experience and Skills

* Essential: Demonstration of clinical experience enabling manage a complex caseload; significant experience in managing/leading others; experience of training other staff / student dietitians; audits/research; good clinical knowledge of specialist area; understanding of audit and clinical effectiveness; awareness of local needs; CPD; staff CPD and appraisal
* Desirable: Member of BDA; Member of BDA Specialist Interest Group
