English Teacher (Part-Time) – SEN School
About the Role
We are seeking a passionate English Teacher to join a specialist SEN school in Swale. This part-time role is ideal for an experienced teacher who wants to make a real difference in the lives of pupils with diverse learning needs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver engaging English lessons tailored to individual needs.
* Adapt lesson plans for pupils with SEN, including autism and learning difficulties.
* Work collaboratively with support staff and other professionals.
* Promote literacy and communication skills in a nurturing environment.
What We’re Looking For
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Experience teaching English, ideally within an SEN setting.
* Strong classroom management and differentiation skills.
* A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach.
* Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply).
