Overview
Permanent, full-time role (37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday) with salary circa £47,000 p.a., dependent on experience. We can only consider candidates with existing right to work in the UK. This is a hybrid role based in Maryport, with work across the North Lakes, leading our Electrical team and coordinating in-house teams and subcontractors to deliver electrical services in customers’ properties and voids.

Responsibilities
* Be the NICEIC duty holder, fulfilling duties and ensuring in-house teams and contractors work in line with legislation.
* Develop and lead a team of Supervisors and Electricians to deliver right-first-time, high-quality electrical compliance servicing, repairs and installations, including electrical testing, inspections, repairs and remedial works.
* Manage teams, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure works are completed to high standards within budget, KPIs and service standards.
* Manage health and safety to ensure regulatory compliance and adherence to health and safety standards, including CDM and related regulations for gas activities where applicable.
* Drive high levels of performance and productivity, delivering value-for-money services and continuous improvement.
* Collaborate with the team to drive service innovation and ongoing improvements.
* Monitor progress of works, budget management and maintain compliance records and certifications; use technology to support oversight (surface Pro and mobile provided).
* Maintain a current driving license and access to your own vehicle; mileage paid.
Qualifications
* A relevant qualification in an electrical discipline with strong knowledge of electrical safety and compliance in housing and maintenance environments.
* HNC/HND or equivalent qualification in building services or equivalent operational knowledge/experience.
* A relevant health and safety qualification with experience managing health and safety at work, including CDM regulations and regulatory compliance related to gas activities.
* Proven ability to keep projects and programmes on track, on time and to budget, driving performance, productivity and quality.
* Previous experience leading a team delivering electrical maintenance and compliance services and managing subcontractors; comfortable handling difficult conversations and contributing to a great place to work.
