Fire Alarm Service Engineer - Belfast
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Fire Alarm Service Engineer within our business team based in Belfast. The successful candidate will work 40 hours per week and participate in an on-call rota.
What you will be doing
* Attend to maintenance calls (on-site and/or by telephone) as directed by team coordinators.
* Rectify faults on the first visit if within your control.
* Carry out a rolling programme of preventative maintenance visits.
* Collect and record site configuration information.
* Maintain stock levels of spares.
* Keep accurate and timely records.
* Provide out-of-hours cover on a rotating basis.
* Commission small projects as required.
* Ensure quality procedures are audited.
* Provide training to customers and colleagues as needed.
* Perform any additional tasks as required.
What we are looking for
* Experience installing and servicing fire alarm systems, ideally GENT base.
* Strong attention to detail to ensure paperwork is correctly completed and procedures are followed within deadlines.
* An enthusiastic team player capable of working under pressure and maintaining professionalism.
* Willingness to work irregular hours and participate in a 24/7 on-call rota.
* Five years of checkable employment history and right to work in the UK/EU without restrictions.
