Operations Manager - Dover Office
We are seeking a dedicated individual to take on the role of Operations Manager for our Dover Office. As the first line decision maker, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the department's structure and processes to align with our business goals.

Manage overall day-to-day operations to ensure effective and successful management of employee productivity and accuracy.
4. Work closely with the Brokerage Director and leadership team to set and implement policies, procedures, and systems.
5. Manage overall day-to-day operations to ensure effective and successful management of employee productivity and accuracy.
6. Provide line management for specialists and team leaders in the Dover office, aligning on key objectives to mentor staff department-wide.
7. Develop a framework for specialist roles, including creating job descriptions tailored to individual skill sets.
8. Oversee departmental systems automation to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
9. Establish and maintain operational customer relationships with new and existing clients.
10. Ensure adequate shift coverage for the Dover 24/7 shift system, including managing the weekend on-call TL rota.
Qualifications
11. A good level of numeracy and literacy to confidently present to colleagues.
12. Relevant industry qualifications
Experience
13. 3+ Years experience
14. Proven experience as an operations manager, ideally in the Dover port area.
Knowledge
15. Proficiency in ASM Sequoia software, CHIEF, CDS, and Microsoft Office Suite.
16. Use & understanding of port linked inventory systems + GVMS.
