Senior Talent Management Partner

Division – Human Resources

Department – Resourcing and Talent

Salary – National (Edinburgh and Leeds) ranging from £43,300 to £54,000 and London £46,400 to £58,000 per annum (Salary offered will be based on skills and experience)

The Resourcing and Talent Division supports our people objectives by attracting, identifying and selecting the quality, quantity and diversity of talent required to match our ambitions. The Talent Team is responsible for our overall approach to talent management and all accelerated development programmes up to Head of Department level. We work in partnership with the business to support organisation wide talent management practices.

This role will report to the Talent Manager and will be highly visible across the business and HR. This is an excitingopportunity to be part of a high performing HR division, which will enable the FCA to deliver its priorities by driving cultural change and increasing organisational effectiveness, whilst supporting HR delivery.

What will you be doing?
We are looking for a motivated individual who has a passion for talent strategy, internal talent management and development to support colleagues to have meaningful and fulfilling careers at the FCA. This is a unique opportunity to join an organisation undergoing transformational change and to embed our approach to internal talent management, ensuring we continue to meet future business need. You will work in close partnership with a variety of teams within HR and the wider business to ensure delivery of our internal talent strategy and approach.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Talent Team and HR colleagues to shape and embed our talent management practices, enabling colleagues at all levels to grow their careers in alignment with their aspirations and business needs. You will enhance our talent offering by reviewing key focus areas, including succession planning, talent reviews, high-potential development programs, and career progression propositions.

Building strong relationships with senior business stakeholders will be key, as will driving a cohesive approach to talent development across HR teams and the wider business. You will also scope, design, and implement an approach to internal mobility, while overseeing accelerated development programs. Additionally, you will draft and deliver impactful presentations and executive papers, and effectively manage supplier relationships, challenging when necessary to ensure the highest standards

Minimum

* Recent experience providing talent development subject matter expertise, supporting experienced colleagues career progression and retention

* Experience in designing and delivering organisational level strategic talent management interventions (not recruitment interventions)

* Proven experience in gathering, analysing, and interpreting people data to generate meaningful insights and make informed, evidence-based recommendations that drive strategic decisions and improve talent outcomes

Essential

* Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with strong prioritisation skills and multi-tasking capabilities

* Able to adapt style and approach to meet the needs of different audiences including senior stakeholders and external suppliers

* Strong interpersonal skills – having the ability to collaborate and contribute effectively to achieve impactful results

* Effective project management skills with the ability to break down complex projects identifying risks and appropriate mitigation

* Expertise in a cooperate setting, including successfully implementing secondments, driving the roll out of succession plans across an organisation and leading talent programs and performance reviews
